#film: With My Own Two Wheels
I recently had the pleasure of volunteering for the Telluride Mountain Film in Savannah. The Mountain Film’s mission is to “educate and inspire audiences about issues that matter, cultures worth exploring, environments worth preserving and conversations worth sustaining” as stated on their website. Being around and apart of this atmosphere you can see the potential that this type of philanthropy has in the eyes of any person that views it. Every little bit more educated a person gets on the state of our environment is one step closer to resolving global issues. Telluride Mountain film is good.
Links to some of the films or their trailers can be found at the bottom of the page. But the film that I found the most interesting was With My Own Two Wheels by Hubub Films. This film shows the work being down by Bikes Not Bombs and World Bicycle Relief among other charitable organizations. Its amazing how something as simple as a bicycle can so dramatically improve the life of an individual and revolutionize the way in which they live their life. Watch* the film for yourself so you can get a full understanding of what something as simple as a bike can do for a poverty stricken individual who has the heart to help.
some of the films shown were:
Desert River presented by patagonia
Chasing Water presented by patagonia
Into Darkness by uncagethesoul
With My Own Two Wheels by Hubub
The Fall Line by Tyler Stableford
Towers of the Ennedi by Renan Ozturk
